2. Service Engagement

A client engagement may be confirmed through written communication, email, WhatsApp, proposal approval, quotation acceptance, advance payment, or another mutually agreed method.

Once the scope of work has been agreed upon, changes or additional requirements may result in additional charges or changes to the agreed timeline.

3. Client Responsibilities

To provide services effectively, clients may be required to provide accurate and timely information, content, access credentials, brand materials, approvals, and other resources necessary for the project.

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information and materials.
  • Providing necessary access to websites, advertising platforms, social media accounts, analytics tools, or other relevant platforms.
  • Reviewing and approving content or deliverables within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Ensuring that materials supplied by the client do not infringe third-party rights.
  • Communicating project requirements clearly.
  • Making payments according to the agreed payment schedule.

Delays in providing information, approvals, or access may affect the project timeline.

4. Fees and Payments

Service fees will be communicated to the client before the commencement of the relevant project or service.

Depending on the project, payment may be required:

  • Fully in advance;
  • Partially in advance with the balance payable according to agreed milestones; or
  • According to another payment schedule mutually agreed upon.

Invoices or payment requests may be issued where applicable.

Work may be paused or delayed if agreed payments are not received within the specified timeframe.

5. Advertising and Third-Party Costs

Digital marketing campaigns may involve third-party costs, including but not limited to:

  • Google Ads expenditure
  • Meta/Facebook advertising expenditure
  • Domain registration
  • Website hosting
  • Premium software or plugins

  • Email marketing platforms
  • Other third-party tools or services

Unless specifically stated in the service quotation, such third-party costs are not included in my professional service fees.

The client is responsible for paying third-party charges associated with their accounts or campaigns.

6. Digital Marketing Results

Digital marketing involves factors outside my direct control, including search engine algorithms, advertising platform policies, competition, market conditions, website performance, industry trends, and user behaviour.

Therefore, I do not guarantee:

  • Specific Google search rankings;
  • A particular number of website visitors;
  • A specific number of leads or enquiries;
  • Guaranteed sales or revenue;
  • Guaranteed advertising results;
  • Approval of advertisements by third-party platforms;
  • A specific return on advertising spend (ROAS).

I will make reasonable professional efforts to deliver the agreed services and improve campaign performance based on the available information and agreed strategy.

7. SEO Disclaimer

SEO results may take time and can vary depending on competition, search engine algorithms, website quality, content, backlinks, technical factors, and other circumstances.

No guarantee is made that a website will achieve or maintain a particular position in search engine results.

Search engine rankings can change without notice and are controlled by third-party search engines.

8. Advertising Platforms

Where services involve Google, Meta, LinkedIn, or other advertising platforms, those platforms operate independently from me.

Advertising accounts, policies, algorithms, approval processes, pricing, availability, and performance are controlled by the respective third-party platforms.

I am not responsible for:

  • Advertising account suspensions caused by platform policies;
  • Rejected advertisements;
  • Changes in advertising costs;
  • Changes to platform algorithms;
  • Platform outages;
  • Changes to advertising policies;
  • Losses resulting from actions taken by third-party platforms.

I will make reasonable efforts to follow applicable advertising policies when managing campaigns.

9. Website Services

Where website design or development services are provided, the project scope will be based on the agreed quotation or proposal.

Additional pages, features, revisions, integrations, functionality, or changes outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

The client is responsible for reviewing the website and providing final approval before publication.

10. Content and Client Materials

The client is responsible for ensuring that all text, images, logos, videos, documents, trademarks, and other materials provided to me are legally permitted for use.

The client grants me permission to use such materials solely for providing the agreed services.

I am not responsible for copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal claims arising from materials supplied by the client.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, original work created specifically for the client and fully paid for may be transferred or licensed to the client according to the agreed project terms.

Third-party materials, software, stock images, fonts, templates, plugins, tools, and other licensed resources remain subject to their respective licences and terms.

I retain ownership of my pre-existing materials, general methodologies, strategies, templates, processes, know-how, and reusable tools unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Portfolio and Promotional Use

Unless the client requests otherwise in writing, I may display completed work, website links, general project information, or publicly available results in my portfolio, website, presentations, or marketing materials.

Confidential information will not be publicly disclosed without appropriate permission.

13. Revisions

The number of revisions included in a project will depend on the agreed scope of work.

Requests that significantly change the original requirements or require substantial additional work may be treated as additional services and may incur additional charges.

14. Cancellation and Termination

Either party may request termination of an ongoing service arrangement subject to the terms agreed for that particular project or engagement.

If a client cancels a project after work has commenced, fees for work already completed, committed third-party costs, or other approved expenses may remain payable.

Any refund will be considered based on the work completed, expenses incurred, and the specific terms agreed with the client.

I will take reasonable steps to keep confidential information provided by clients confidential and use it only for legitimate business purposes connected with the agreed services.

Confidential information does not include information that:
